Tyrone Leo Jones, Sr.

Tyrone Leo Jones, the second oldest of three children, was born on May 31, 1979, to the late L.V. Jones and Millie Bell Jarrett in Oxford, MS.

“Fly,” as he was affectionately called, attended Lafayette County schools, and graduated in 1998. He was employed at Ashley Furniture at the time of his death.

On October 16, 2021, Tyrone married the love of his life, Maggie Lakenya Keller.

On Saturday January 22, 2022, he departed his earthly life simultaneously with his wife, Kenya, in Oxford, MS.

He will forever be loved and missed by his children, Samaria “Molly” Jones of Taylor, MS and Tyrone “T.J.” Jones, Jr. of Oxford, MS; adopted mother, Jettie L. Campbell of Abbeville, MS; siblings, Tasha L. Jones, Kelvin Jarrett, Walter Jarrett, and Charlene Jones all of Oxford, MS; very close friend, Fredrick Young; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
