Wilfred Allen Bell

Wilfred Allen Bell, son of H.C. "Shorty" Bell and Sadie McIntosh Bell was born on January 26, 1962 in Lafayette county Mississippi. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with the Flint Hill MB Church in Etta, Mississippi where he remained an active member until his health failed. 

Wilfred was a 1981 graduate of Oxford High School. After high school, Wilfred met and married his loving and dedicated wife of 36 years, Faye Evelyn Smith. He was employed as a service technician for the City of Oxford for 18 years and owned his own logging company. Wilfred loved outdoors. He enjoyed doing mechanic work, cutting grass, logging and, being with family.

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Tupelo Sanctuary Hospice Hospice, Wilfred went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish is memories, his loving wife: Fay Evelyn Bell of Oxford MS; three daughters: LaKesha (Chris) Harris, Latoya (Chris) Hilliard, and Kierra Bell all of Oxford MS: seven grandchildren: Demarius (Trayshun) Jeffries, Za'Kyrah (Monique) Harris, Anizah Hilliard, Christopher Harris, Jr., Christian Harris, Jalayah Jones, and Jaydin Hilliard; his siblings: Kenneth (Deborah) McIntosh and Michael Bell and Doris McIntosh all of Oxford MS, and Mark Bell of Atlanta GA; a special aunt: Ora Redmond, his sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Wilfred was preceded in death by his parents: H. C. and Sadie Bell.
