A Time to Be Born
William Edward Sanders was born December 20, 1958 to the late Margie Archie and Edward B. Lipsey in Union County, Mississippi.

A Time to Live
William confessed his belief to Christ at an early age and joined Union Grove M.B. Church in Abbeville, Mississippi. He later joined Jeffrie Chapel M.B. Church where he was a faithful member and also a dedicated member of the Usher Board, until his untimely death.

William United in holy matrimony to Betty Mae G. Sanders in August of 1985 and with this union, 3 children blossomed: Tineshe, William, and Tianna.

Known affectionately to many as, "T","Tick", and "Babyface", William was known for his smile, his jokes, his love for life and his family. He was employed by Emerson Electric for many years until his health failed. He enjoyed riding and fishing with his wife, reading in Sunday School, sitting on the porch with his daughter and other friends.

A Time to Die
On March 26,2020 at Baptist Memorial, he left this world of pain and suffering and took his eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother, Lula Bell Sanders, a sister, Jeanette Hilliard, and two brothers Jerry and Lee Lipsey.

He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife Betty Mae Sanders of Abbeville, MS; his children: Tineshe D. Kee of Oxford,MS; William D. Sanders and Tianna N. Sanders, both of Abbeville,MS; his grandchildren: Mikel (Alexis) Russell of Fayetteville,North Carolina; Alexis and Jayla Kee both of Oxford,MS; his sisters: Betty (William) Nicks of Abbeville,MS; Julie, Annette, and Sharon Lipsey all of Oxford, Jenice (Tony) Salter of Hamilton AL, MS; his brothers: Lee Edward Lipsey of Oxford, MS; Eddie Barry of New Albany, MS; Terrance Carruthers of Lincoln, North Dakota, Stanley and Steven Lipsey of Birmingham AL; his aunts: Diane Sanders of New Albany, MS; Mildred Sanders, Emma (Jesse) McGowan both of Peoria, Illinois; Gwendolyn Cole of Milwaukee,WI; his uncles: Matthew Lipsey of New Albany, MS; James Lipsey of Rantoul, Illinois; a special uncle James Hewlitt Pegues whom he loved dearly; and close friend Doug Young. His in-laws: Minister Dianne Owens, Eddie B. (Nancy) Gordon, Timothy (Mae Hwa) Gordon all of Abbeville,MS; Louella Eggerson of Taylor,MS; Glen Gordon of Oxford,MS and Pastor Michael Gordon of Bartlett,TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and Friends
