Willie Lee Blake

REFLECTIONS Willie Lee Blake, son and fifth child of Leroy and Mary Farr Blake, was born in Oxford, Mississippi on May 11, 1961. In 1975, Willie became a resident of the North Mississippi Regional Center where he nurtured and cared for. He participated in daily activities and learned social skills. Willie loved sitting outside and he loved listening to music, especially the blues. Willie mother and father both preceded him in death, but he had a loving circle of biological family as well as his NMRC family. On Monday evening, February 24th, 2020, the Lord saw the need to bring Willie home. He passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital/NM, in Oxford MS. Willie leaves to cherish his memory: three sisters: Barbara Parks and Omega Kay Blake both of Oxford MS, and Marilyn (James) Gamble of Memphis TN; two brothers: Austin (Earline) Blake and Anthony (Daphne) Blake both of Oxford MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Willie is preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Mary Blake and a brother: Eddie Frank Blake.
