Willie James Wilson, the first born son of Elder James E. Wilson and Evangelist Mary White Wilson, was born October 17, 1974, in Panola County, Mississippi. He accepted Christ at the age of 12 at Landstuhl Chapel Service in Germany under the leadership of Pastor Victor Alexander.
Being a child of military parents, Willie saw many countries, states, and people, that many could only dream of seeing. Growing up he would always fix on bicycles to race them. Willie had many different gifts, such as singing and playing the keyboard. He wrote several songs and recorded them. Willie lived out of town for many years and when he became an adult, he moved back to Mississippi. He spent a lot of time with his grandparents and every chance he got he would come home to Mississippi.
Willie graduated from Junction City Learning Center in Junction City, KS. He attended UTI in Houston, TX for auto body work. He had a love for cars/motorcycles, and he loved to refurbish them. He had several jobs in Oxford where he was employed at Terminix and Winchester. He was most recently employed at Auto Zone in Oxford, MS.
Willie departed this life on December 31, 2025, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. He is survived by his parents: Elder James E.
