Willie Lee Price

Willie Lee Price, son of the late George Grays and Savannah Key, was born November 27, 1958, in Oxford, MS.

Willie accepted Christ and was baptized at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He received his education from Oxford City schools and graduated from Central High School in 1967.

He was employed as a maintenance man with Benbow Village Apartment Complex. Though a simple man, Willie was full of life. He loved fishing, building houses, and watching all types of sports.

On Monday, March 14, 2022, God saw fit to call him home. His memory will be forever cherished by his brother, Charlie Price of Oxford, MS; sisters, Sandra Price Sawyer (Glenn) of Oxford, MS, Shella Lynn Gulledge of Jackson, MS, and Marcheta Key of Chicago, IL; special nieces, Ida Cannon Delbert and Jelisa Cannon Payne both of Lawrenceville, GA; special nephews, Bryant Cannon (Cynthia) and Chris Price (Gwen) both of Oxford, MS; life-long friend, Dennis Jones of Oxford, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents: Savannah Key and George Grays; sister, Alfreda Price Cannon, and brother, Preston Price.
