Willie Wilkins Obituary

Willie Horace Wilkins, a man who loved to work and loved everybody. 

Willie Horace was born January 11, 1954, in Lafayette County, Mississippi to Worley Wilkins and Francis Wortham. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Springhill Toccopola in Lafayette County, Mississippi.

He attended school in Pontotoc County and went on to trade school to pursue a welding certification. Willie Horace was a man of many jobs, he was a machine operator and assisted with grave digging in the days of hand digging, He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, working on cars, killing hogs, helping others and he especially loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed people in general.

On Sunday, March 1st, 2020, Willie Horace was suddenly called home to be with the Lord. We pray God's peace and comfort upon the family and that the peace that supasseth all understanding abide with them.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Steven Wilkins, Felica Wilkins and Audra Cooper all of Oxford MS, Tyrone Vaughn of Memphis TN, Barbara Brown, of Abbeville MS and Katena Jones of Collierville MS; his brothers: James Wilkins, Bradenton FL and Roger McGlarn of Oxford MS and sisters: his sisters; Martha Roberson of Pontotoc MS, Aster McGlarn and Oleaner Tyson: 18 grandchildren and five grandchildren; a a daughter who is not biological, but was special like a daughter: Tasha Flemons.
