LaKetric Jarmiane Burnett, 35 of Oxford, MS was born on July 31, 1984 to Richard L. Burnett and Linda Burt. 

LaKetric attended Lafayette County School District and was a graduate of the Class of 2002. He loved to watch and play football, eat, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew. He also enjoyed listening to music.

Something else that caught LaKetric's attention was the outdoors.  He loved being outdoors and walking. And he was crazy about his dog.

On March 6, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, LaKetric made is departure from this Earthly realm.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Linda Burt of Tupelo, MS, his father, Richard (Shae) Burnett of Abbeville, MS, two brothers, Asa Burt of Oxford, MS and Meriko J. Hill of Riverdale, GA, one sister, DeCondria Burnett of Oxford, MS, one grandmother, Elizabeth Burnett of Oxford, MS, three nieces, Dominique Burnett, Sariyah Nesbit and Londyn Nesbit all of Oxford, MS, one nephew, Malachi Burnett of Oxford, MS and a host of aunts and uncles.
